Cize It Up Results!

Cize results did not compare to my 21 day fix results at all. I lost 8.8 lbs and only 2 inches. I was honestly a little disappointed in myself. The last week of the program I got some kind of attitude problem and wanted to quit. The last week took me about 2 weeks to finish. I would do one then slack off for 2 days. Then go back at it and slack off again. I finally finished though!. My results would have been better if I stuck with my nutrition. I slacked off a bunch and ate and indulged myself. Tasting the foods made me happy but the feelings after eating the foods and what the scale said the next day was not happy at all. I could have probably lost another 5 lbs if I had really stuck to the nutrition and exercise.

I will be starting Country Heat tomorrow with my coworker and will do much much better! Sometimes everyday is a challenge. I accept the challenge!

How Sad

I didn’t finish my updates for my 21 day fix round.

Since the past is the past, I will just give you a quick run down of how it went! After this round I kinda slacked off a bit. Life happens you know! I found an actual Beach Body coach! I completed 2 more rounds of 21 day fix with her and was down 30 lbs! It was hard getting through the last round. I was totally burned out with the repetition of the workouts. I was also getting a lot of praise and recognition for my hard work on my body.A few people even assumed I was a Beach Body coach. After a week of thinking and pondering, I contacted my coach and became a coach! It’s been a few months now!

I’m nearly done with Cize It Up. Super fun workout. Some of the moves are easy and fun and some are a bit more challenging. I’m down about 10 lbs and can’t wait to post my results!

I just want to thank all the people who have stood by me and supported me through this journey! Who knew loosing weight for a wedding dress would turn into inspiring others! If you’re ready to take a step to a healthier you through exercise and diet, join my team 🙂

day sixteen

The top picture is how I wore these khaki pants for  the last few years when I needed to dress up at work or other functions. The bottom picture is when I put them on today.

The difference to me means so much. I honestly cannot remember the last time I didn’t need a hair tie or a rubber band to help me wear these pants. This is a nice reminder that wearing lower sizes is obtainable. Don’t give up. It takes time to loose inches. And that is okay 🙂

Most of my co-workers always ask me what I’m heating up in the break room because it smells so good. Well here they are:

My three savors for flavor! Garlic, Salsa and Taco Seasoning mix are what I use to make pretty much all the dishes I do. When I do my “Italian” dishes I use the garlic in my meat and even veggies (can never have too much in my opinion) along with Italian seasoning. Taco seasoning is my staple for my “Mexican” dishes. Even using a little bit adds a ton of flavor and smells so amazing. Salsa is my favorite to add to cooked meat that might taste a little bland from being over cooked or loosing taste from sitting in the fridge all week. Spices things up real nice.

Day 14

Last day of week two! One more week to go!

Today was a lot like last Sunday. Spent two hours in the kitchen prepping everything but breakfast!

Breakfast (7am): Plan on eating my 1 red of egg whites and a little salsa mixed in and my green tea.

Snack (9:45): This week I wanted to mix it up so I got some red grapes in which I will do 1 purple and 12 almonds.

Lunch (noon): Monday/Wednesday/Friday I have prepared my ground turkey meat with some taco seasoning in it. In another pan I sauteed zucchini, shredded carrots, and onion. 1 red, 2 Green and a spoonful of salsa on top. Tuesday/Thursday I did the ground turkey with a bunch of garlic and Italian seasoning in one pan. Chopped broccoli and cauliflower were sauteed in a separate pan and I added garlic of coarse! 1 Red and 2 Greens.

Lunch #2 (2pm): My trusty salad this week contained 2 Green and 1 Red of cucumber, celery, shredded carrots, bell pepper, and hard boiled egg with lemon juice sprinkled all over and a dash of black pepper.

Snack: 1 green of cherry tomatoes and bell peppers and four slices of turkey lunch meat.

Here’s to a yummy week! It’s supposed to rain pretty much all week. Hope I get some walks in! We shall see!

Day Thirteen

It rained ALL day today. I spent the day a couch potato catching up on ALL the shows and crocheting spring themed animals and what not. Today was my lazy day. I kept myself in check though by not eating all day. Crocheting really helps to keep my hands busy and not think about eating due to boredom.
Breakfast was blueberries, two hard boiled eggs, and my green tea.
Lunch I sauteed some bell peppers and egg whites together with a little bit of salsa.
Snack was 12 almonds.

Dinner (pictured above) was chopped cauliflower, garlic, tomatoes, and lemon juice. In another pan I sauteed ground turkey, garlic, and chicken seasoning. I ate one serving of each. Pretty good. Maybe it will be a lunch or two for the week.

My fiancee went to Costco on Wednesday but we area already almost out of our usual ingredients I use for my food prepping. Sounds like we are going to go tomorrow morning before he has work! Mmmmmm. All the tasty low cost veggies will be mine!

Today it rained and my routine walk was ruined 😦 Next best thing? Go for a walk in Target! Didn’t get as many steps as I usually do but it is better than sitting for an hour in the break room and not getting any steps! Gotta work with whatcha got! Oh and while at Target I got bright pink socks with Dinosaurs on them.
